Intralot Running Team “Intralot Runners” ran the 5km, 10km and 42km races of this year’s Marathon with the aim to support the NGO "Greek Society for the Protection of Autistic People (E.E.P.A.A.)" and highlight its social work. More than 100 runners wearing the colors of Intralot spread the word for the protection of persons with autism, in order to raise awareness and foster the participation of autistic persons in social activities. The support of E.E.P.A.A. in this year's Athens Classic Marathon is part of INTRALOT’s CSR program “INTRALOT – We Care a Lot”.
Group CEO, Constantinos Antonopoulos, who ran the Athens Classic Marathon race of 42km for the 8th consecutive year, after passing the finish line of the race, commented: “The Marathon reveals the power of human will and soul. We have to face the difficulties that we encounter, surpass our limits and become part of the universal values of sports. Today is a big celebration. I would like to congratulate all Intralot runners for being part of this initiative and supporting E.E.P.A.A.’s efforts towards a wonderful cause.”
