For several years, the games of chance sector has operated at a national and international level in the prevention of possible money laundering manoeuvres. Argentina has implemented different policies that allow the detection in time of a potential fraud, measures promoted both from the state and the entities of control and state and private gaming operators. To analyze the issue, officers of the National State Lottery, together with representatives of the Financial Information Unit of the Argentine Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and specialists from Codere Argentina will share their views and insights and review the main policies and strategies taken forward in the country.
Speakers will be Dr Carolina Galtieri, Lotería Nacional SE, Manager, Prevention Unit in the Asset Laundering and Finance of Terrorism;, Dr Ma. Liliana Rodríguez, Codere Argentina, Manager of Compliance; and Dr Nancy Suárez, from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of the Nation, Supervision Department of the Unit of Financial Information.
The panel discussion on asset laundering will be the first talk of the second day of EY! 2013 (November 13th), which will be held from 9 a.m. in Salón Puerto Salguero, located inside Costa Salguero exhibition hall.
