Macau casino-hotel sees its earnings soar

Wynn Macau Q3 profits up by 18 %

(Macau).- Wynn Macau announced last Friday that its third-quarter net profit surged to us$ 240.6 million this year, 18.3 percent more than a year earlier. It said in a statement that casino revenue as a whole rose by 10.1 percent to us$ 944 million.

Adjusted property earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose to us$ 329.1 million from us$ 292.2 million.


The company operates one casino-hotel here, the Wynn Macau. It is renovating the rooms in the original hotel tower. It expects the work to be completed this year.


Wynn Macau is also constructing the Wynn Palace, a us$ 4 billion casino-resort in Cotai, which it aims to open at Lunar New Year in 2016.
