(Macau).- China Star Entertainment says it is in preliminary negotiations with an unidentified party about selling its Hotel Lan Kwai Fong Macau. The company said a prospective buyer had approached it but that no deal had yet been struck.

China Star Entertainment told the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it was unaware of any reasons for recent swings in the price of its shares. The fluctuating share-value led the company to ask for the suspension of trading in its stock. Trading resumed today.
