TransAct to showcase its color printing solutions at LAGCOE 2013

The company will demonstrate thus present at what is one if the US’ largest energy expositions its leading full color Printrex 920 and 980 printers for oil and gas exploration, as well as its wider range of Printrex printing solutions and line of supplies and services from TransAct Services (at booth A83 of the show).

Designed specifically to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of oil and gas exploration, TransAct’s Printrex printers offer an ideal solution that make oil and gas easier to find by presenting exploration data in an easy-to-use color format.

The Printrex 980 from TransAct Technologies is the industry’s fastest color printer for use in central offices and data centers, commented the firm. Offering unparalleled reliability and a low cost of total ownership, the Printrex 980 prints on continuous form paper at speeds of up to 8 inches per second, enabling oil and gas exploration companies to print logs without plot length limitations.  In addition, the Printrex 980 provides print quality enhancements such as Depth Line Accuracy, Stitching Stream Technology and Automatic Image Shifter.

The Printrex 920 is the industry’s first full color thermal printer/plotter designed to perform in the adverse environment of a logging truck or off-shore platform.  Available in a rugged rack-mount configuration and representing an easy upgrade from existing black and white printing systems, the Printrex 920 uses ZINK Zero Ink to print in full color without ink cartridges or ribbons.  In addition, it is capable of printing in black and white on standard thermal paper, providing the ultimate in flexibility.

Also on display at LAGCOE 2013 will be the consumables – including paper stock and ink cartridges – used in the company’s Printrex printers and offered for sale by TransAct Services Group.
