Caribbean Gaming Show 2014 got vital company backing at G2E

(Puerto Rico).- The team tasked with staging next year’s 5th Caribbean Gaming Show (CGS) says it secured crucial backing from key firms at the recent G2E in Las Vegas. “Success was so huge we have had to expand our exhibition area to 2 ballrooms, totaling 4200 m2 and 55 booths,” said the organizers.

Furthermore the new structure of the CGS Show – with the first of the scheduled forum’s to be headed by the security company Avigilion and of interest to Security/Operations Managers in South and Central America and the Caribbean – has generated a high level of interest across the industry. 

Other activities taking place at the Puerto Rico Convention Center include: first class panelist conferences at the Exposition Hall from 2pm through to 7pm on the 1st day, plus a Regulators Lunch sponsored by the prestigious BMM Laboratory and an iGaming Conference  taking place on March 19-20. Additionally, training opportunities will be provided in the form of graduate courses given by Las Vegas University of Nevada staff in collaboration with the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. As Elizabeth Leiva, Director of the CGS, points out, these and other features will ensure the fifth anniversary of the Caribbean Gaming Show & Summit becomes a memorable event worthy of what is the world’s second oldest gaming jurisdiction after Nevada. In a joint interview with Andy Viera, Director of the Gaming Commission of the Puerto Rico  Tourism Company, Leiva highlighted the expected impact that the Caribbean Gaming Show & Summit will have in the country and region The Caribbean Gaming Show & Summit will be the event enabling those wishing to communicate and connect in a better way achieve just that -  a bridge to crystalize formality and legality,  the only roads to secure growth and stability to the industry.
