(Italy).- Merkur – the Gauselmann Group’s representation in the Italian market – is applying a new country-wide strategy focusing on the manufacture and marketing of AWPs and games, in line with the legislative changes to take effect in early 2014.

Aside from this Merkur Italy Group plans to continue its expansion in AWP renting started in 2011, as well as keeping its share in the new concessionaire NTS. Meanwhile it will continue with the development of its online platform www.merkur-win.it, which was completely updated last year and saw Merkur signing partnership agreements with major operators in the market, such as Active Games and Evolution.

“Following these strategic changes,” said General Manager of Merkur Interactive Italia Roberto Ronchi “our Group has decided to finalise an agreement with Sisal to transfer the branch with 75 shops of the Merkur-win brand. This operation will allow us to strengthen the commercial partnership between the two groups.”
