(US, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Wendy Anderson, Chief of Staff, Alisha Ray, VP Regulatory & Compliance BMM International, and Drew Pawlak, SVP Business Development – BMM Americas, talked to Yogonet.com about the recent G2E in Las Vegas. They discussed activities at BMM’s booth and events and conferences in which they took part.

What’s your overall view of the show?
Wendy Anderson, Chief of Staff – BMM International, said: “G2E is a very important show for BMM:, it not only gives us a chance to catch up with all of our customers and colleagues, but allows attendees to take a sneak peak into what's new and upcoming in the market.

We understand that attendance was up at this year's event, which was apparent on the show floor. There certainly seemed to be more traffic this year. BMM's booth was busy all day, every day of the show, which is a great sign for us, and allowed us to share our expertise with both new and current customers alike.

BMM staff from all of our global regions attended the show and also took part as speakers and moderators in many of the conferences and presentations over the four days of G2E. BMM also sponsored the new Regulatory Section and took part in some of the IAGA events. We attended many of the external events and the AGA Women in Gaming breakfast and luncheon. Additionally, BMM was shortlisted for an AGA Communications Voice Award. All –in –all, it was a very positive few days for BMM and our staff.

In terms of brand, we released our new campaign "Choose" at the show, letting visitors to G2E know that they have a real choice in global Gaming Testlabs. BMM's expertise, staff and the care and attention we provide to our customers is second to none."

Judging by your interactions at the show with colleagues, manufacturers and regulators, what do you feel the future holds for the industry next year?
Drew Pawlak, SVP Business Development – BMM Americas commented: "This year most of our clients were very enthusiastic about 2014 and real sales in the US and abroad, which is always a good sign for the industry. As there has been for the last few years, there is still a lot of frustration about iGaming in general and when federal law will allow for the effective operations of iGaming systems to operate in the US. It’s clear that the US player base wants to participate in this type of gaming and all the manufacturers want to offer it, but for it to be profitable, effective federal laws allowing interstate play, with complete offerings, including casino, slots and poker will need to be established."

What challenges have you set yourselves for  the rest of the year? What are your plans for the coming months?
Alisha Ray, VP Regulatory & Compliance - BMM International commented: "BMM hopes to complete full licensure throughout all US jurisdictions within the next few months. Regulatory agencies understand the importance of licensees utilizing multiple testing labs for certification of products, regardless of what standards are utilized, and the various benefits to the gaming industry to be afforded the choice."

What can you tell us about Mike Dreitzer’s departure from the company? What does it imply for BMM? Are you planning to announce new appointments any time soon?
BMM is very pleased to announce that Travis Foley has accepted the position of EVP – Operations for BMM Americas. As a former Chief of the Technology Division of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Foley brings with him over 15 years of regulatory, testing, and manufacturing experience of gaming technology to BMM. Please see attached press release for more info.

Travis Foley EVP – Operations for BMM Americas, commented, “Mike Dreitzer has been instrumental in the growth of BMM in the Americas over the past two years. I would like to personally thank Mike for his guidance and leadership during his time at BMM and wish him the best in his new role. As BMM continues to make a positive difference in the gaming industry worldwide, I look forward to working with our talented team and continued growth here in the Americas.”
