There will be eight gold WSOP bracelets on the line, with a number of new events including the kickoff, a 1,100 euros ladies no-limit hold’em event and a 25,600 euros buy-in no-limit hold’em high roller tournament. The other bracelet events include a 1,100 euros no-limit hold’em re-entry, a 5,300 euros mixed-max no-limit hold’em, a 1,650 euros pot-limit Omaha, a 2,200 euros no-limit hold’em, a 3,250 euros mixed-max pot-limit Omaha and of course the marquee 10,450 euros no-limit hold’em main event, which kicks off October 19th. In 2012 Phil Hellmuth topped a field of 420 to earn us$ 1,333,841 and his record 13th gold bracelet in Cannes.
“New tournament dates and 12 million Parisians have us aiming for the largest Main Event in Europe,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart earlier this year when the schedule was announced. “Baguettes and Bracelets; Champagne and Cash; we think is a winning recipe for the 2013 WSOP Europe.”
In addition to the bracelet events there will also be more than four dozen other side events to choose from, as well as cash games running around the clock. The 2013 World Series of Poker Europe will be televised broadly around the world, including on ESPN and Eurosport. The WSOPE remains the only European poker tournament to be televised in the United States.
