How do you feel about this year’s G2E? What’s your overall take on it?
This year’s G2E was very successful for us. The traffic through the booth was up quite a bit from the past few years. We consider this show an important venue for us to present our products and have committed to exhibit there again next year.
How did the public respond to the debut of your iPad apps and jackpot controller?
The debut of our iPad apps was well received. I believe the customers experience first-hand the changes taking place in technology and understand that the direction we are taking with our iPad apps is a natural progression and will keep us at the front of the high-tech products. We heard many times that the product’s ease of use was a big improvement over the older, complicated configuration programs. Gaming Support’s new jackpot controller was welcomed as well. With the current set of features plus the roadmap for future enhancements, this product easily supports all current applications and will continue to meet customer demands for enhanced features in the future.
Considering feedback from colleagues and operators at the show, what do you feel the future holds for the industry?
The message was consistent among most colleagues:- things have improved over the past few years but we’re still not sitting fat and happy – there are still some struggles ahead. We at Gaming Support continue to monitor ourselves and the market and make changes we feel necessary to keep on track so we can continue to meet or exceed our customer’s’ needs and expectations. We feel the market will continue to improve but it will be at a slow pace.
What are your plans for the coming months, and targets for the rest of the year?
We are focused this year on finishing the roll-out of the new products along with their regulatory approvals for the US market. We have quite a bit of interest from customers so it is important for us to complete this task so we’ll be ready to fulfill their orders. We are constantly adding more jurisdictional licenses to our portfolio. We plan to submit for more licenses in several markets in the coming months in both the US and Asia.
