Maryland’s casinos generate us$ 65 million

(US).- Maryland’s four casinos made us$ 65.3 million in total revenue for the month of September. The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced the revenues for the month on Monday.

(US).- Maryland’s four casinos made us$ 65.3 million in total revenue for the month of September. The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced the revenues for the month on Monday.

Maryland Live! in Hanover, the state’s largest casino, made about us$ 50.5 million. Hollywood Casino in Perryville made the next highest amount of us$ 6.6 million for the month. Casino at Ocean Downs near Ocean City generated us$ 5.1 million, and Rocky Gap Casino Resort made us$ 3.1 million.

In a year-to-year comparison, excluding Rocky Gap Resort which opened in May, revenue increased by us$ 19.3 million this September, compared with the same month last year -  a 45 % increase.
