Hundreds of new attractions unveiled

Global Gaming Expo hits top figure since 2008

(US).- This year’s Global Gaming Expo at the Sands Expo and Convention Center was the largest showcase since 2008. Show-goers got a look at the latest slots and video poker machines coming to casino floors, presented by the most important gaming suppliers worldwide.

More than 450 exhibitors presented hundreds of new slot games that have recently hit the slot floors or will be out within the next year. Many of the new games are theme-based on various old television shows, movies or rock bands. 

IGT’s standout attraction was a new video reel slot game from IGT based on the Oscar winning film, “Avatar.” Also new from the firm, Phantom of the Opera and Footloose are two new games already out on some casino floors here in Las Vegas. Other new games debuting this fall or next spring/summer include True Blood, Back to the Future, Bridesmaids, Jurassic Park and Into the Wild.

Aristocrat showcased more than 207 games. Appearing with one of the company’s newest games is Adam West, who portrayed Batman in the 1960’s television series. It also presented its nLive virtual casino solution. New and proven games, cabinets and platforms from Bally were revealed at G2E. The firm also presented its cross-platform solutions at the event.

Novomatic featured all the latest international product highlights and the support acts of various international subsidiaries. Gtech Sphinx 3D game won award for technological innovation at the Global Gaming Business (GGB) 12th Annual Gaming & Technology Awards held at G2E. Ortiz Gaming eye-catching booth provided G2E show goers with an overview of a vast variety of new games and amazing products. 

ELO introduced its Led True Flat touchscreens for gaming industry. Besides, NEWave and Cummins Allison unveiled Ticket Reconciliation Software and PokerTek presented its ProCore platform with BlackjackPro and EZ-Bacc at booth 3827. 

Advantech-Innocore presented its new DPX-S435 in the S Series Range and FutureLogic celebrated its 30th anniversary at G2E 2013 with its TITO printers. Rye Park Gaming presented its layout designs and Interblock introduced its brand new 5G HD generation.

Casino Technology highlighted its be the latest versions of the glamorous Penthouse Slots and Abbiati presented a more developed RFID Baccarat table, dedicated especially to Asian players. TransAct Technologies presented Epicentral Promotion at G2E, with its Epic Printers and Ithaca 9700 Food Safety Terminal and system highlights. 

Ainsworth introduced “The Magnificent Seven”, Reels of Wheels and other premium titles and TCS John Huxley displayed its traditional and technical products in Las Vegas. Aruze Gaming America unveiled its new series featuring the 4+1 REEL.

Guests to Konami Gaming booth 1154 were able to preview for the first time, the newest edition to the Podium family, Podium Monument. Meanwhile, Copag presented its exclusive line of 100% plastic cards. WMS debuted new premium games for Gamefield xD Cabinet.

One of JCM highlights was the award-winning iVIZION bill validator and its bundled enhancement tools, called Dynamic Network Applications. Four-level mystery progressive jackpot Vollinstars, progressive Dragon jackpot and Jewel Jackpot 3 were some of the new multigames introduced by DLV.

Gaming Support showcased its Media Systems at G2E  and MEI exhibited its SC Advance and EASITRAX. Inspired unveiled virtual sports products and its new BMS management system at G2E Las Vegas and Quixant unveiled its newest platform, the QXi-300. Crane exhibited its CashCode, Money Controls and NRI brands at G2E. 

Merkur Gaming exhibited its range of new innovations for players and operators alike on an impressive and spacious 600 sqm stand.

G2E also featured an exciting series of keynote events that provided attendees with entertainment, educational experiences and exclusive access to the industry's leading experts.
