Malta LGA to promote regulatory framework at EiG

(Malta).- The Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta signalled its intention to promote its unique regulatory framework at the upcoming EiG expo, taking place across the 8-10th October in Barcelona, Spain.

(Malta).- The Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta signalled its intention to promote its unique regulatory framework at the upcoming EiG expo, taking place across the 8-10th October in Barcelona, Spain.

The gaming authority, which is responsible for the governance of all gaming activities in Malta, said that its aims are to competently regulate the various sectors of lotteries and gaming that fall under its authority.

A statement from the Malta LGA "[We] aim to ensure that gaming is fair and transparent to the players, free from any criminal activity and ensures the protection of minors and vulnerable players." It went on to add that its legal framework 'permits up-to-date and effective regulation that is online with current business practices.

The LGA Malta will be discussing these and  numerous other topics at the 12th European iGaming Congress & Expo.
