Alongside all these games, a world of cabinets was on display from Merkur Gaming. Five separate gaming cabinets were shown on the Merkur Gaming stand – namely the WB5, the Evolution, the Vision Casino, the Highflyer and the UNO. The Evolution cabinet is especially popular in Romania. This was presented in a bank of six with a double-faced ‘Treasure of the Amazon’ jackpot in the middle. This is the ideal solution for Romanian gaming locations where gaming machines are often placed in banks of between three and six with their own jackpot system connected to them. Thus, it was only fitting that Merkur Gaming had two separate jackpot systems on show – the ‘Jackpot Rain’ and a local ‘Treasure of the Amazon’ local jackpot.
The masters of entertainment drew in the crowds for a robot show during the happy hour. This drew in the attention to the constant development and technical evolution of Merkur Gaming products. Local professional boxer and former WBC International Featherweight champion Viorel Simion was also present on the Merkur Gaming stand to the delight of his fans.
Hannelore Fuica of Merkur Gaming Romania looks back at another international show for Merkur Gaming, commenting, “Even if this year’s EAE exhibition in Romania had less visitors than last year, all operators expressed a clear interest in our products. Our market share is constantly growing in Romania. My thanks go to our teams in Romania and Germany who shine out with their professionalism and enthusiasm – attitudes that go hand-in-hand with the working philosophy at Merkur Gaming”.
