This year, the award received by Intralot has been extended and especially recognizes top performance in the area of business analysis including, for the first time, best practices in Corporate Social Responsibility & Reporting and effective IT management. In addition, the company has  maintained its distinction in the areas of Regulations & Communications in internal auditing and Performance Assessment, received in previous years.

For the last six consecutive years the company has been rewarded across multiple criteria for its reiterated commitment to operate under the principles of integrity, responsibility and business ethics by EBEN GR and has won the gold award for the last four years.

At the award ceremony held in Athens on 18 September 2013 before a capacity audience of business, government, academia and media representatives, Intralot Senior Manager of Public Relations and CSR, Ms. Chryssa Amanatidou, stressed the importance of integrating corporate governance and social responsibility into business strategy, as a means to create shared value while advancing business goals. At Intralot, she stated, “business excellence in all aspects of our operations is paramount to our strategy of sustainable leadership and focus on ensuring our stakeholders’ trust; customers, shareholders, employees and local communities.”

EBEN President, Antonis Gortzis underlined: “I would like to congratulate Intralot on this significant distinction that ratifies the company’s commitment to business ethics. EBEN’s newly re-conceptualized model of governance provides certification to businesses for the first time and helps them implement systems and policies that contribute to corporate sustainable development as well as to wider social progress.”
