(US).- At G2E this year, Konami Gaming will unveil an expanded catalog of products. New cabinets, new themes and progressives, as well as the Synkros system, launched at G2E 2012, will be showcased. Among the highlights, guests to booth 1154 will also be able to preview for the first time, the newest edition to the Podium family, Podium Monument.

“This year, we will introduce a catalog of exciting new games and systems products that reinforce how fun is truly in our DNA,” announced Eduardo Aching, vice president, international sales at Konami.

New Cabinets

“This year, our booth will feature recent successes like the Podium Goliath, the bigger version of our industry-leading Podium video cabinet,” explained Aching. Guests to the booth will also be able to preview for the first time, the newest edition to the Podium family, Podium Monument. Aching added, “the Podium Monument, which has a standard Podium base enhanced with an oversized top box for greater attraction and entertainment, will be available with the full library of KP3 titles paired with an all new four-level progressive, Quick Strike Quad. We will also offer exclusive Monument themes like Snow Stars and new Rock Around The Clock themes which have been designed to fully utilize the tall vertical top box to deliver eye-popping entertainment.”

The Rapid Revolver presents two distinct gaming concepts fused into one cabinet. This cabinet combines a video reel experience with six stacked and vertically-mounted spinning reels in an oversized top box and surrounded by synchronized high-impact sound and lighting. “The Rapid Revolver cabinet’s combination of innovative spinning reels in the top box and powerful 3D graphics in the base game make this a product that will grab the attention of casino guests,” added Aching.

New Progressives

“The next generation of Konami linked progressive games is Dragon’s Victory, which features a multi-stage bonus event with independent jackpot levels,” added Aching. Konami is also launching the Gigantic Wheel of Winning, a progressive big enough to belong exclusively on the Podium Goliath cabinet. “This mystery stand-alone progressive was designed to capture the attention of casino guests and deliver over-sized entertainment with its massive spinning wheel graphics and exciting double-up bonus feature,” said Aching.

New Themes

The connection between fun and performance is often created by solid game math, one of Konami’s core strengths and a prime reason why games like China Shores have performed so well for so long, said the firm. Konami recently released several new math games including Solstice Celebration, Dragon’s Law, Seven & Flames Hot Boost and Sovereign Lion, which are delivering strong performance at properties in North America today. “We are working on plans to make localized versions available in international markets where they make sense,” added Aching.

The SYNKROS System

Since its launch at G2E 2012, the SYNKROS gaming enterprise management system has been winning awards generating interest based on its ability to deliver marketing and analytics horsepower on the most stable and reliable platform in the industry. Operators are quickly discovering how this system can provide them with marketing capabilities and improved business results.

“True-Time Tournaments was recently recognized as one of the year’s most innovative systems products based on its ability to offer operators player-on-demand and group start tournaments via Konami’s proprietary True-Time Windowing technology,” explained Michael Ratner, director product management, systems. Operators appreciate the power offered by a system-delivered bonusing tournament that awards entries to players who demonstrate any of the desired behaviors – property visits, earning points, or signing up for a new card.
