(UK).- Online casino and sportsbook BetInternet.com has become the first site to sign up for the new Quickfire Poker offering from iGaming software provider Microgaming. BetInternet.com stated that online poker players will now be able to benefit from the liquidity of the MPN.

Owned by operator Webis Holdings, BetInternet.com stated that online poker players will now be able to benefit from the liquidity of the MPN, which was formerly known as the Microgaming Poker Network, and enjoy all of the developer’s Texas hold’em events including ‘headline guaranteed tournaments’ via a dedicated channel and using a single wallet.

“Although betting on sports is the primary activity for BetInternet.com’s customers, we know that our customers also like the occasional hand at a poker table and the addition of Quickfire Poker will mean that they are now able to do this through their single wallet betting account at BetInternet.com,” said Garry Knowles, Managing Director for Isle of Man-based Webis Holdings.

“We are very pleased to be adding to our existing Quickfire live dealer and games products. Having such an established and recognised provider of gaming software as Microgaming as our partner gives our customers access to the best gaming and entertainment products available in the online gaming sector.” “Quickfire provides an excellent solution for sportsbook and casino operators looking to supplement their gaming portfolio with poker,” said Ashley Sandyford-Sykes from Microgaming. “We are delighted that BetInternet.com is the first operator to go live with Quickfire Poker [as] it will be an excellent addition to its sportsbook site.”
