(Portugal).- Online scratchcard and instant-win games developer NeoGames has signed a deal to provide a selection of its titles to the Santa Casa da Misericordia de Lisboa (SCML) lottery in Portugal. Malta-based firm revealed that its range of interactive scratchcard and instant-win games will be marketed under the Raspadinha brand as SCML extends its extensive retail presence online via the JogosSantaCasa.pt domain.

“Our fastest growing product segment is our scratchcards,” said Fernando Paes Afonso, CEO and Vice-President for SCML. “Therefore, we are excited about adding them to our online offering. We are certain that the joint efforts of NeoGames’ portfolio and expertise in online scratchcards together with our marketing team that brings local insight will make this a success.” NeoGames stated that it intends to localise the games provided to SCML via a renaming exercise and instituting a lottery ‘look and feel’ while closely cooperating with the operator’s marketing department to ‘jointly create growth programmes for the interactive scratch category’.

“We are honoured to work with one of the most respectable and successful lotteries in Europe,” said Ilan Rosen, CEO for NeoGames. “We strongly believe that the games selected by the lottery, with the assistance and recommendation of NeoGames, and the joint marketing efforts will contribute to additional growth in the scratchcard segment of SCML. Localising the games and adjusting the different game parameters to suit the requirements of the lottery is a key factor in their success and this was enabled by the flexibility and openness of our games platform.”
