Thomas Niehenke, COO of the Gauselmann Group said that although the show was small, only featuring four manufacturers among the exhibitors, the company felt it was important to take part: “Our performance within the Serbian market, as well as surrounding markets, is an indication we are a strong partner in the region, and we want to expand this position further. Gaming Expo Belgrade 2013 was an ideal opportunity to lay the groundwork for doing so.”
Feedback from those attending the exhibition was strong, notably with regards to Merkur Gaming’s Highflyer cabinet, which again differentiated itself from the crowd. “The response we got from both existing customers and also potential new ones was extremely encouraging,” said Thomas Niehenke. “This resulted in a number of sales at the exhibition itself, and exciting leads for us to follow up in the future, both in Serbia but also surrounding markets.”
