The 2013 edition was not only signed by the brand debut, but also for the change of format. This year there are no conferences. The focus in on the show and its paralell events: the III Latin American Summit of Games of Chance Associations and the business round of Su Red, the corporate brand of the Colombian firm Corredor Empresarial S.A., addressed to the business sector.
At the end of the first day, José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of FADJA Peru, said that the renewed event started with the right foot because the main Colombian and Peruvian associations that participated of the III Latin American Summit of Games of Chance Associations (Panama could not assist but adds its support,) achieved a first agreement with the aim to start Corporate Social Responsibility actions. This initiative counts with the support of the General Direction of Casinos and Slots of Mincetur, headed by Engineer Manuel San Román Benavente.
“I think that, with the organization of the Summit, FADJA achieved institutionalism. On top of sharing experiences, an agreement was reached to act together. That’s why I say we started with the right foot. It has been hard because we changed our identity. Migrate from a congress to a trade show was not easy, but the response has been positive, both for the principle of agreement achieved at the Summit as well as for the statements by exhibitors at the show. The main Peruvian operators assisted to the event,” commented Aguirre.
The CEO of FADJA Peru assured that the mechanics of the Corredor Empresarial worked very well. “They were all the time occupied with the dates we have previously coordinated. We achieved the exchange, inside the Andean Region, in two countries such as Peru and Colombia, which possess a legal frame for investment, specially on the betting sector. We think this is a very important and positive first experience,” he pointed.
