(Austria / Netherlands).- Austrian giant Novomatic has bought the Dutch gaming machine manufacturing and operating company JVH Gaming. The deal was completed last week and was conducted under the name of Novomatic’s subsidiary Austrian Gaming Industries.

JVH products will now form part of the product portfolio of Novomatic in the neighbouring German AWP market, in which Novomatic has a major share through its subsidiaries Löwen and Crown.

Confirming the acquisition, Novomatic’s Hannes Reichmann said it applied to JVH Exploitatie and JVH Gaming Products. The latter’s gaming machines are already exported into Germany. JVH Exploitatie is a significant operator in the Netherlands.

“With the establishment of our subsidiary Novo Gaming Netherlands, we continue out strategic and dual acquisitions programme. Our own group brands, AGI, Astra and Bell-Fruit are market leaders in digital gaming and the products of JVH will complement this growing portfolio of products, especially in Germany.”

JVH also owns the well-known Errèl gaming machine brand in the Netherlands.
