(UK).- Stephen Vowles has announced that he is stepping down as Ladbrokes Customer Experience Director at the end of the summer after completing a re-structure of Ladbrokes’ marketing functions.

The restructure is taking place to ensure that the business can fully leverage the resources of Ladbrokes Israel, a new, wholly owned, ecommerce and digital marketing services operation.

Based in Tel Aviv,  it has been created in partnership with Playtech with the aim of accelerating growth in Ladbrokes’ Digital Business. Vowles said, "I have enjoyed my time at Ladbrokes and am proud of what we have achieved. The creation of Ladbrokes Israel is a great opportunity to turbo charge growth in this important area and in refocusing the marketing function to ensure its success, it feels like a natural time to move on.”

"Richard Glynn, Ladbrokes Chief Executive Officer said "Stephen has made a key contribution to the business since arriving in late 2010 and will play an important role in ensuring the business has the right marketing model to fully leverage the expertise we have in setting up Ladbrokes Israel.  We are grateful for all he has done in his time with the business and I wish him every success in his future endeavours".
