(US).- The 2013 edition of State of the States has been presented. The AGA Survey of Casino Entertainment, created by the AGA, offers an in-depth look at the industry’s contributions to the US economy and to the tax coffers of state and local governments in a tough economy.

Notably, it reflects that 2012 marked three consecutive years of increasing growth rates for gross gaming revenue. As in previous years, the report also includes an analysis of Americans’ attitudes about the acceptability of casino gaming and the gambling habits and activities of casino visitors. For the first time ever, 2013’s State of the States also takes an in-depth look at young adult casino visitors. The full report will be released Monday, May 6.

Widely regarded as the most comprehensive resource of its kind, the annual State of the States survey offers an in-depth look at the commercial casino industry. It provides national and state-by-state economic impact data, such as gaming revenues, tax contributions, employment and wage figures for the 23 commercial casino states in the U.S. as well as public opinion polling results on a variety of gaming issues.

Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr. -President and CEO, AGA-, Marcus Prater -Executive Director, Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM)- and Andrew Smith -VP Communications-, will participate in a Conference call (dial-in: 800-311-9404. Passcode: AGA.)
