The Stockholm-based firm revealed that its Cubeia Social network features an HTML5 poker client that runs on most mobile devices and computers and is compatible with all operating systems and all major browsers, 'enabling anyone to create and run their own social poker site'.
Cubeia Social, which is currently in a Beta release, handles all the behind-the-scenes technical aspects of the game, allowing operators to focus on the promotion of the site and brand. Operators then receive a share of all revenue generated by their players.
'It's high time anyone is able to start a poker site without any complicated sales process or legal wrangling,” said Lars J. Nilsson, Executive Vice President at Cubeia. “At Cubeia we've looked at the possibility of starting a truly open poker network for some time and with the rise of social gambling we decided to go ahead. So if you want your own poker site, then just come and see us because we're open to everyone.'
Variations currently offered to operators include Texas Hold’em, fixed, pot and no-limit ring games, multi-table tournaments and sit ‘n go’s. Mult-tabling is also available.
“A hassle-free sign-up process, without time-consuming applications or legal red tape, allows operators to quickly get up and running with a minimum of fuss and technical know-how,” read a statement from Cubeia.
