Estimations made by the Casino Superintendence (CSJ) and Enjoy, assure that, considering the 25 existing licenses the second actor of the market is between Dreams and Monticello. The first one with developments in Iquique, Temuco, Valdivia, Puerto Varas and Punta Arenas, holds the 20% de of the incomes; while in Monticello, with a casino in San Francisco de Mostazal, it has a similar percentage.
Considering only the sales shown by the 17 licences regulated by SCJ –it means, excluding municipal casinos, gross income achieved us$ 594,82 million in 2012.
According to Enjoy, the fourth operators of the industry –with a 9% of the incomes- are Marina del Sol, which operates a casino in Talcahuano, and Sol, with casinos in Arica, Calama, San Antonio, Los Ángeles and Osorno.

"The trend of the industry has been the development of projects related to full entertainment, so the cities that host these facilities are boosted as new urban and holiday sites,” he remarked. He also added that it is expected that Chile assumes the touristic leadership in the region, becoming a recognized and admired place.
