(Colombia, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Bally Technologies was one of the big international companies present at the recent FADJA edition held in Bogota, Colombia. Its Director of Sales and Operations in Latin America, Ricardo Regner, talked to Yogonet.com about the products unveiled to the regional public, reflected positively on the event and pointed to the importance of the Colombian market for the company.

What products of each Bally division – games, systems and interactive - were highlighted this year at  FADJA?
This year at  FADJA, in one of the largest booths at  the event, we  presented all the company’s innovations  together with other worldwide novelties. On one hand, the slots unit highlighted Michael Jackson King of Pop, NASCAR Racing, Beach Boys, Cash Wizard Tiki Magic, Betty Boop Fortune Teller and the release of our multigame platform and the first games of the High 5 developer. 

With regards to the systems, it highlighted Elite Bonusing Suite, NASCAR Virtual Racing and DM Tournaments. 
Bally Interactive was one of the units that generated more queries. We presented our award-winning  iGaming solution worldwide that lets operators expand their  customer base to the online and mobile market, maybe in “play for free” mode or through money bets. This open architecture allows our customers to select the best content of the industry for their  website from  a myriad of providers. 

What is the main demand of Colombian players? What  does Bally offer that is different compared to the rest of the companies present in the region?
The main demand of the Colombian operators has to do with offering games to their  customers that can provide a different and more attractive gaming experience: new play mechanics, more levels of interaction with the player, each time more funny functionalities and bonuses. All this together with tournaments or “community play” experiences, where all casino players can be involved,  allows the operator to achieve a different experience  and customer loyalty.

The great investment in research  and development that Bally has been performing during recent years, also supported by a record of awards received worldwide, lets us position ourselves as the partner par excellence in the Colombian market.     

What place does Colombia occupy inside the strategy carried out by the company in Latin America? Which are the characteristics of this country?
Colombia is one of Bally’s key markets in the region, where we will continue investing in order to position our brand and continue obtaining a growing market share. One of the big challenges I see in Colombia is to be able to set a solid regulatory frame for the gaming industry, one which enables both operators and providers to compete with clear rules in equality of conditions.

What Bally products have been better accepted in the Colombian market in recent years? What products do you want to boost from now on?
The products with more acceptance in the Colombian market have been our V22/22 and ProV32 cabinets, mainly due to the wide range of games that let us adapt to the preferences and characteristics of the players in each of the different markets within Colombia. 

We have performed some pilot tests with Premium products that have been very successful, so, from now on, games such as Michael Jackson King of Pop, Betty Boop Fortune Teller, Cash Wizard and NASCAR will be seen in several of the main national casinos. 

How have you seen the event regarding facilities, quality of visitors and business opportunities?
The Corferias space is a positive qualitative leap compared to previous years. We saw a  much more organized event where we managed to receive all the most important customers in Colombia, as well as others from Peru, Panama and other regions of the international market. We have made several very interesting proposals, which will help us increase our market share, both in our slots business unit as well as in Systems, and the new Bally Interactive division.  

What are your plans for the rest of the year?
During the year, we will be participating in SAGSE Buenos Aires, Peru Gaming Show and the PRTC event in Puerto Rico. 

In each event we will showcase a myriad of new games, new systems applications and more interactive content that will allow us to have a unique global vision of the player. Our aim is to keep on working shoulder to shoulder with our customers to provide them with the most innovative technologies, products and services in the market at a slots level, in systems as well as on the mobile space and on the  Internet.
