(Colombia, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Within FADJA 2013, the event held at the beginning of this month in Colombia, Alvaro Nores, Aristocrat’s Vice President for Latin America, granted an interview to Yogonet.com, in which he talked about the performance of the company at the event, the products presented and the strategy of the firm for the Latin American markets. “Aristocrat is committed to bringing the region the best gaming solutions in the industry,” he affirmed.

How was your experience in FADJA?
We had a very successful participation, exceeding all our expectations, both in cstomer visits and public as well as in sales. No doubt the new Corferias center is larger and more comfortable for visitors and exhibitors, and it has had a positive impact at this year’s performance.

What was the operators’ response to the games “Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle”, “El Fantasma” and “Zorro, la historia del oro perdido”?
These titles were no doubt the stars of the show. Aristocrat game portfolio is unique due to its preference among players worldwide and, which these titles, we keep on proving that we are leaders in the innovation and development of games.

What other products have you presented? 
We must also add “Wonder 4”, our revolutionary multi-game that allows top lay up to four simultaneous games. This has been a real phenomenon, acclaimed globally, and we are now presenting it officially in Colombia. Results didn’t wait, as it was seen by the interest operators showed for this game.

What Aristocrat products are best positioned in Colombia?
In terms of categories, our licensed games, as well as the multi-games and progressives are well positioned in Colombia.

Which is the taste of the Colombian players? What do operators demand from this market?
The Colombian market is maturing and players demand more games, more sophisticated and fun, in line with what is happening in more mature markets worldwide. In order to satisfy this demand, operators are inclined to bring casino floors the best technologies in cabinets, such as our awarded VERVE, as well as global titles such as Tarzán.  

Which is Aristocrat strategy in Colombia?
Our strategy for Colombia, as well as for the rest of Latin America, is bringing players the best entertainment and the best gaming technologies. To achieve that, we are constantly innovating, with our latest generation cabinets or releasing successful titles that are the players’ favourites.

What other countries from the Andean region are important for the company?
Peru and Chile, where Aristocrat has an excellent reputation and our games count with a leading position among the players of those markets.

What are your plans for this year?
To continue with our sustained growth in the region during recent years. On top of Colombia, this year we will be participating in Panama, Peru and Buenos Aires shows, with bigger exhibitions and more varied games and cabinets. Aristocrat is committed to bring the region the best gaming solutions of the industry, and this way, keep on having the confidence of our customers and the preference of the Latin American players.
