What products have you presented for the Colombian and Latin American market?
Really, in Colombia the products that have more acceptance on the gaming side are BV 100 and NV USB. In other segments, we are concentrating in payment products, with the smart line: the smart pay out, the smart hopper and NV 11.
How was a feedback from people?
Positive. I think we managed to optimize our products for the region. People were very happy with our products this year.
You have a quite strong position in Colombia and know the market, which has lately had a re-emergence and has reactivated a lot. What do you consider this phenomenon is about and how do you expect to be developed for the rest of 2013?
Basically in the Colombian market, we keep always our machines updated, not necessarily with the latest technology but with the things the player really likes, which are things that not necessarily go together. There are shocking developments from the technological point of view, but which are not very attractive for the Colombian player.
In Colombia, the operator goes to a lot of effort to bring something that is accepted by players, so we have casinos with top-level machines and a market with not so state-of-the-art machines that are have a great acceptance, and that combination of machines have made the Colombian market grow, at least for us.
Do you consider that it is a stable market or that it will keep on growing? Because Colombia already has a quite mature gaming offer?
I think it still has to mature a bit more: which is something pending with the definitions that COLJUEGOS is performing: online control, legallity and everything else. So I think there is a market that still needs to mature, but I am not saying that maturity means growth at a machine level. There are issues to be defined before talking about growth…
What is your position, as a company, in the Andean region?
Regarding the position at a local level, we are very well. We have been in the market for 19 years and we are recognized as a company that basically brings support, not only as a seller.
