(US).- A sixth casino in West Virginia, US, has won approval from the state senate. According to Senate Bill 492, the Franklin County development would require a minimum investment of us$ 80 million to deliver a 150-room hotel and 1,000 homes on at least 404 hectares with recreational amenities.
The senate also passed Bill 455, which supports the state’s existing casinos by reducing the table games tax from 35 % to 25 %, the number of live racing dates to 60 and the annual licensing fee from us$ 2.5 million to us$ 1.5 million.
Both bills now head to the House for approval.
