(Colombia, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Forward Systems management system was the star of Unidesa Interactive booth at recent FADJA show. In an interview with Yogonet.com during the first day of the event, Lluis Cabre, Commercial Director of Unidesa Interactive, highlighted the main qualities of this product and also spoke about the position of the company after the acquisition of the casino slots divition by Novomatic.

What products did Unidesa Interactive choose to promote in FAJDA this year?
We presented Forward Systems management system, which counts with more than 10,000 casino machines interconnected in Latin America and Spain. Designed to manage big networks of machines, Forward Systems is based in a completely modular and scalable structure, bringing the operator all the necessary functionalities for the optimal management of its collection: online, accounting, couponing, statistics, cash box, TITO, jackpots, Cashless and Player Tracking.

You have a strong presence in Spain. In which Latin American countries has this system penetrated the most?
We have installed it in Panama, Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. We also had presence in Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina. 

Of the markets mentioned, which is the most important for you?
Surely Panama and Colombia.

What are the features of Forward Systems that highlight among other similar systems that operators may find in this industry?
It is a mid- to high-end system with a strong focus on security and quality. This product was born in Italy, outside the casino environment, because we had to connect  16,000 machines in bars and halls and an online system due to a fiscal constraint that established that data had to be brought to the government. So it was born with very high requirements regarding security and reliability. It is operational in Italy from 2004. I would say one of the main characteristics of Forward Systems is its strenght.

2012 was a particular year for Unidesa. How do you experience this new stage of the company?
More than a redeployment, I would say that simply a part of the business no longer exists. Unidesa keeps walking a strong path in its segment. We are leaders in B-machines sales in Spain, we sell 30,000 units a year, we count with an important collection of 100,000 machines operating and we have more than 50% of the market share. It means, we are the number one. Regarding the area systems, we have renamed it Unidesa Interactive, and before it was Gaming & Systems and was also called Cirsa Interactive. We made a brand change, but we continue offering the same systems for casinos, gambling halls and bingo halls, we also offer video-lottery systems.

Which are the main goals of the company for the rest of the year?
With regard to Unidesa Interactive, we want the presence of our systems in Spain to keeo on growing, even in bar machines; we will seek to continue boosting our implamtation of the online bingo and we will bet to the growth of Forward Systems in Latin America in general and Colombia in particular.
