“The great novelty of Novomatic is the Pinball Roulette concept”

(Colombia, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Manuel del Sol, General Manager of AGI Gaming Colombia, local subsidiary of Novomatic, granted an interview to Yogonet.com during FADJA in Colombia, in which he spoke about the performance of the company in the Colombian market, the products presented and the plans for South America.

What does it represent for Novomatic to be in FADJA? What products have you presented?
It is not the first time we are in FADJA. We assisted last year for the first time. We have a trading company here: AGI Gaming Colombia. It is a pleasure to be in such an important event and we are very proud that it has grown the way in which it has done so.
Regarding the products, we present part of what we have exhibited in London. We brought a sample of the new Novo Line platform and the Dominator cabinet, but the great novelty is the Pinball Roulette concept, because it is a different machine and game concept.

The Colombian market had a big growth in the last two years. Which do you think are the reasons for this?
On one hand, the own economic recovery of the country. Our sector is part of the growth of the country and that has made operators take the decision to invest on new projects and in the renovation of equipment. The great weakness of Colombia is illegality. Specially because we note that there is a lack of interest to solve the problem. 

Which is Novomatic position in the Colombian market and in the Andean region in general?
We have a very good position, considering that we have been operating for just one year and we have achieved to have a 4% market share. Last year we were among the three biggest machine importers. We have much experience in Peru and it is where the company has been working for more years, and the market share is very big.

Which are the policies that the company will take in order to increment its presence?
Product, product and more product. Work, work and more work. I always say that an event like this is very good for us because it let us relate to our customers. In our booth we can involve with our customers, but we do sales every day.
