(Bahamas).- The resort arm of Malaysian conglomerate Genting Group is taking over operations of a gaming resort in the Bahamas. Authorities assured that the firm will invest us$ 100 million to expand air and sea transport to the Bay Bay Resort.

Authorities in the Caribbean island nation of Bahamas say Genting Group will invest us$ 100 million to expand air and sea transport to the facility, the Bay Bay Resort, located on the tiny island of Bimini.

The company will also develop a tourism master plan for the island, the government affirmed. The resort’s 929 sqm casino is scheduled to open in July.
