Openbet appointed new CEO

(UK).- OpenBet announced that Jeremy Thompson-Hill has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of OpenBet, with immediate effect. Thompson-Hill joined the company in 1999 working in a sales and operational capacity before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2008.

As COO, Thompson-Hill has been responsible for sales, OpenBet Sportsbook and Casino operations and product R&D.  He has developed, managed and strengthened key customer relationships and been instrumental in the expansion of OpenBet’s global operation adding offices in Europe, Australia and North America.    

Ian Riley, a Managing Partner of Vitruvian and Chairman of OpenBet, commented; “With Jeremy’s knowledge and track record in the business, he is ideally suited to the position.  OpenBet is well placed to continue to prosper and take on the exciting new opportunities that lie ahead both here in the domestic market and overseas.”
