“We proposed to bring first-level content with well-known professionals and present practical cases. The idea is to offer our customers and operators the latest academic information and trends with regard to the way in which companies, in this case, the casinos, interact with society. Within the context of corporate social responsibility, we also include responsible gaming, an important issue within the agenda of the industry,” said Esteban Corio, Sales Director for the Southern Region of Latin America in IGT.
“We have had a positive feedback, even when the issue is not traditional in IGT seminars. It is venture to say that we will organize more seminars of this kind, but no doubt it is the kick off to join efforts and strengthen this way related to Corporate Social Responsibility and responsible gaming in our industry,” he added.
The one-day seminar was coordinated by Mrs. Connie Jones, IGT Director of Responsible Gaming. The moderator of the event was Alejandro Siccardi, graduated from the School of Law of the university of Buenos Aires, PhD in Social Communications from the University of Barcelona (Thesis on National Loteries CSR), Master in Business Administration from IAE Business School.
