Macau casinos had gross revenue of us$ 6.743 billion

(Macau).- The gross revenue of Macau’s casinos in January and February was us$ 6.743 billion, up 9.4 % over the same two months in 2012, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau has announced.

(Macau).- The gross revenue of Macau’s casinos in January and February was us$ 6.743 billion, up 9.4 % over the same two months in 2012, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau has announced.

The year-on-year variation rates rose in both January and February, by 7.3 % and 2.1 % respectively.

In February bettors left the amount of us$ 3.385 billion in the casinos, up 11.5 % year-on-year and us$ 27 million over the gross revenue posted last January.

At end 2012 Macau counted 35 casinos pertaining to six concessionaires: Sociedade de Jogos de Macau (20), Galaxy Casino (6), Venetian Macau (4), Melco Crown Jogos – Macau (3), Wynn Resorts – Macau (1) and MGM Grand Paradise (1). Together they offered 5,497 tables and 17,029 gaming machines.
