The importance of the acquisition of the CSI brand was demonstrated at ICE through a popular marketing event entitled “Murder at ICE.” Based on the U.S. crime drama series, “Murder at ICE” invited the gaming industry to watch a series of online video clips as they discovered a “body” had been found at the ICE venue. Using clues from the www.murderatice.com website, gaming industry professionals had to identify who they believed was guilty of the crime, for a chance at the prize of trip to Hollywood to visit the CSI set.”
On top of highlighting the acquisition of CSI brand, Scott was satisfied with the public response at the show. “The response the event generated was exceptional. A large number of ICE visitors sought out the Spielo International stand to discover who the guilty suspect was and to play the online game. The acquisition of the CSI brand clearly demonstrates the importance that Spielo G2 places on creating products that are enjoyable and that players want to play.
