(Macau).- Online poker operator PokerStars has announced that its land-based branded poker room in Macau will soon open at the City of Dreams entertainment resort following past stays at the Grand Waldo and the Grand Lisboa Casino.

Located on the venue’s main casino floor, the PokerStars Live at the City of Dreams branded room will feature 13 tables offering cash games and daily tournaments while additionally serving as the home for events such as the Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP), the Macau Poker Cup series, the Macau Millions and the Asia-Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Macau.

“The PokerStars online brand drives more traffic to live poker events than any other,” said Danny McDonagh, Asia-Pacific Live Operations Director for PokerStars. “Players know that PokerStars is synonymous with integrity and high quality. That makes this collaboration a natural fit because City of Dreams has been at the forefront in providing the most innovative and premium gaming experience that is second to none in Macau. Further details regarding the official opening day and special events are expected to be announced soon.”
