(Canada).- Gaming industry entertainment solutions provider Amaya Gaming Group has announced that its Ongame Network subsidiary has signed a deal to power the online casino at acePLAYpoker.com on behalf of owner American Casino and Entertainment Properties (ACEP).

Montreal-based Amaya Gaming Group purchased Ongame Network from bwin.party digital entertainment for approximately us$ 19.73 million in October while ACEP is the firm behind the Arizona Charlie’s brand and the iconic Stratosphere Casino, Hotel and Tower in Las Vegas along with the Aquarius Casino Resort in nearby Laughlin.

“Ongame’s unique track record within regulated markets around the world has proven essential for the success we are experiencing in the United States,” said David Baazov, President and CEO for Amaya Gaming Group. “Partnering with some of the world’s premier casino brands like the iconic Stratosphere, Arizona Charlie’s and Aquarius are great steps on a very exciting journey in the regulated United States.”

The Nevada Gaming Commission issued ACEP with an interactive gaming operator licence in late-September and the firm stated that it has initially launched acePLAYpoker.com as a free-play online poker domain but will offer a real-money component as soon as it is possible.

“The poker solution from Amaya Gaming Group’s Ongame Network enables us to quickly establish a quality free-to-play poker website,” said Frank Riolo, CEO for ACEP. “We are aiming to be among the first-movers within iGaming in the United States. Our launch of acePLAYpoker.com will help strengthen our brands and prepare us for real-money online poker, which we will launch when it is legally possible.”
