His key responsibilities include developing and managing detailed product road maps to ensure that Konami continues its string of successful products by identifying and then exceeding customer and market demands. In this role, Mr. Walther will focus on positioning Konami games products to support existing and emerging markets.
Steve brings extensive operator and supplier-side gaming experience with expertise in product management, strategic marketing, sales and service operations, and project management. He has served in key marketing and product management roles working with games and systems products, most recently as executive vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer at Aruze Gaming America.
Mr. Walther will report directly to Matt Reback, senior director of marketing at Konami Gaming, who explained, "Steve’s extensive background in games and systems product management and marketing, coupled with his experience on the operator side and his proven ability to lead make him a terrific addition to the Konami team. Prior to his employment at Aruze, Mr. Walther served in a variety of product management roles at Aristocrat Technologies. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
