Dreams Corporation granted license of two casinos in Peru

(Peru/Chile).- The Peruvian subsidiary of Dreams Corporation obtained the license of the Ministry of Foreign Commerce and Tourism of Peru to operate the gambling venues New York City and New York Casino, both located in Lima. The venues count together with approximately 500 slots and 20 gambling tables.

The authorization came up after Dreams, associated to Claudio and Humberto Fischer (51%) and Citigroup Venture Capital (49%), acquired the 100% of the share in Casino New York belonging to Zalaquett family. The operation demanded a us$ 24 million investment and generates an annual  Ebitda of us$ 4.5 million.

Dreams pointed that, with such acquisition, the firm will be among the six largest national operators, with a 5% share. In Peru, the biggest operators are Sam family and Novomatic, which operates Monticello casino in Chile.
