SG Gaming announces changes to leadership team

(UK).- SG Gaming, the recently formed division of U.S.-based Scientific Games, has announced changes to its senior leadership team. Ian Timmis, CEO of SG Gaming, has decided to return to Australia with his family for personal reasons and will be leaving the company next 31 March. In connection with this change, Phil Horne will assume the newly created role of Group Managing Director, UK.

In the role of Group Managing Director UK, Horne will be leading the company’s British-based gaming businesses, which include the LBO, Pub, Arcade, Bingo and Interactive sectors and their support functions.

Steve Frater, Executive Chairman at SG Gaming, said, “I’d like to thank Ian for his significant contributions to the growth of our business, including his role in the acquisition of Barcrest. We are grateful for his leadership and wish him all the best for the future.”

Timmis said, “With the recent integration of The Global Draw, Barcrest and Games Media into SG Gaming, I believe the business is very well positioned for continued success.”

Frater added, “I am delighted that Phil will be taking on this new role in supporting our customer base and driving our business forward.”
