What are your expectations for upcoming ICE edition?
Our expectations are the best possible. ICE London is a very important show for us because we can be in direct contact with our current and future customers and distributors throughout Europe. I anticipate ICE will be a very successful show for us.
How do you think the new venue will affect the show?
We see the change as something good. We leave a place where we have very good memories, we had very good years there, but now it is necessary to change. I think it is an opportunity to do new things and have other experiences, because I am sure that this change is for the better.
What products will you present? What are its main features?
We will present our complete portfolio of casinos cards with special highlight for our 100% plastic cards and cardboard. We will also exhibit some security technologies already available to our customers as UV and RFID.
What are your main markets in EMEA? How is the company positioned in each one?
We are leaders in Latin America and we have been in Europe for many years. Africa is a market in which we have worked for a couple of years and we know that the challenge is great but it's going very well. It is easier to work when we have high quality and recognized products in the gaming world.
How was 2012 for the most important markets of EMEA? What is the outlook for 2013?
In 2012 we have done very well, but we feel that the crisis in Europe and the United States affected our sales in those markets. We expect 2013 to be a better year, more prosperous and good for the world economy revived.
What are your goals for this year, especially in Europe?
We expect the group (Copag and Cartamundi) to continue to grow throughout Europe, working increasingly closer to our customers with the clear aim to always provide the best cards for the best players.
