(Macau).- Citigroup forecasts December’s gross gaming revenue will amount to us$ 3.4 billion, up by 17 % year-on-year. The research house cited its sources indicating that Macau table gross gaming revenues for the first 16 days in December reached us$ 1.75 billion including an estimated us$ 69.8 million in slot-related revenue, Bloomberg reports.

“Total daily gross gaming revenues run rate equated to us$ 102.5 million/day, lower than the us% 122.1 million / day achieved in prior week (probably aided by high hold) but still above the year-to-date average of us$ 101.3 million/day,” Citi said.

In the meantime, Nomura Equity Research said that in the first 16 days of December, gaming revenue was up by 15 percent year-over-year.
