Miller's sports and race industry career spans more than thirty years. For the past six years he has served as a Sports Talk Radio host on KXNO in Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to that he was a Sports Talk Radio host on ESPN Des Moines for ten years, commentating on a broad spectrum of professional and college sports including football, baseball, basketball and hockey.
Before his radio career, Miller spent 22 years as a track announcer where he called more than 45,000 races. In 1982 he was named the youngest track race caller in North America.
