How have you seen the 2012 edition of SAGSE Buenos Aires?
It was a very good edition. There is much said about this edition due to the complicated situation of imports, but it has been an excellent show.
How have Latin American operators responded to Time Voyager Jackpot, Magic Roulette video roulette and the most important products presented?
The feedback was positive. We are already installing those new games and the first results are excellent. Magic Roulette video roulette is a well-known product in the sector and the operators that have already installed it support this, because they have an excellent average.
What other products have been presented at your booth?
We have presented new high volatility games of Capitan Cash progressive, which have also had a lot of feedback, such as Queen of Oceans, Pyramid Quest and Just Hot.
How do you evaluate the quality of the visitors?
Excellent. We have received managers and directors of the main companies that operate in our industry and our customers have visited us, too. In this sense, we are more than satisfied.
What countries did the operators that visited your stand come from?
Mainly from Argentina. As in previous edition, we have had visits from Colombia, Peru and Uruguay.
Considering the barriers to importation and the exchange policy, How do you see the current situation of the Argentine industry? How do you think this situation will evolve? In Which way has this been reflected at the event?
The Argentine citizen has a very special training to face the crisis, and, in the presence of the first signs, they have quick reactions. Usually it has to do with reducing expenses, keeping up with the dollar and not taking decisions which involve great investments. Anyway, we are not in presence of a deep crisis; there are some signs so the reaction is to anticipate to them. Although it could have slown down, the market keeps on growing and we can work very well. The main thing is to be able to adapt to the new demands and that is what we have done.
You joined the company by mid year. What is your evaluation of these months in the position of General Manager Latin America? How do you see the region in general?
It is too soon to make balances, but I can say that I am very happy and satisfied, both with the company and with the feedback from those markets.
Which are your main plans and goals for 2013?
To keep on growing and increase our participation in the Latin American territory.
