Chairman and CEO Brian R. Gamache, WMS Industries, said, “Matthew Paull’s years of leadership and financial experience as the Chief Financial Officer of a major global company, his training as a certified public accountant, his extensive experience overseeing accounting, facilities, information services, investor relations, tax and treasury will be a valuable addition to our Board.” He added, “Matthew is an excellent fit for our board and our company.”
Paull was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of McDonald’s Corporation, a global food service retailer, from July 2001, until he retired from that position effective January 2008. Prior to joining McDonald’s in 1993, Paull was a partner at Ernst & Young where he managed a variety of financial practices during his 18-year career. He is currently the Lead Independent Director of the Best Buy Board, and Chairman of its Finance Committee. He also serves as a director of KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation , as an advisory director of Pershing Square Capital Management and an advisory director of the One Acre Fund.
