He also remarked the commitment of the company towards Argentina despite the current import barriers that the country has implemented.

What is your opinion about SAGSE 2012? How did you see the show?
This show was important especially because of the difficult situation in Argentina. It was necessary to demonstrate that Merkur believes in the market and is willing to invest in it.

How do you evaluate the quality of the visitors? Where did the operators that have visited your stand come from?
The quality of the visitors was excellent. Merkur received significant orders from major operators in Argentina and other countries. Most visitors came from Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and other Latin American countries.

What feedback did you receive from Latin American operators?
All operators were very positive about Merkur investing in these difficult days and its commitment to the Latin American markets.

What is your opinion about the current import barriers and exchange restrictions in Argentina? How do you think that this situation will evolve?
The current import barriers are indeed a big problem for international companies. However as the past has shown it is very likely that it will change again in the future making it more easy to import.

What are your main plans for next year?
Merkur will definetly establish its presence in Argentina and other Latin American countries.
