(Argentina, Exclusive Yogonet.com).- Tom O’Brien, Interblock VP of Sales, granted an interview to Yogonet.com in which he commented about the debut of the company at recent SAGSE Buenos Aires. On top of the products presented at the show, he spoke about the Hologram technology and analyzed the Latin American markets.

What products have you presented in SAGSE for the Latin American market?
We have presented two of our best products. One is the Organic Twins, which is a double roulette. We are positioning a game in a casino for a lot of customers to play roulette or  roulette, it means that a lot of customers who are having a bad run in one roulette just switch to the another roulette without having to play new games. Our games are multigame capable. We have roulettes, we host Baccarat and Blackjack, so we can connect all the games together.

Are the products that you’ve brought here the same that you presented in Las Vegas?
Some of the products here, yes. What we presented in Las Vegas were some old-generation products and the new-generation products and we are always representing some of the new conversions, so we are doing a lot of side-bets with our games now that fill a hold for the operators. As you all know, table games have low-hold percentages, so both games that you’ve seen here, one of them, specially, has a side-bet on it called Lucky Aces, with a black-jack game. This additional side bet will increase the return for the operator.

Is the Hologram technology available for Latin America?
It could be. The reason that we don’t have it here is just because of its size. This is our first show here in Latin America and so we are excited to come down. We want to come down to present some of the smaller products for casinos. One of the big hits for us in Las Vegas was our Interblock Hologram Lounge. We got together and partnered up with a company called Musion to allow live holograms to go into the casinos and connect to our games as well as to live entertainment. And what that means is that when people are playing, instead of looking at the outcomes of the game, we can actually project hologram images and have dealers or entertainment hostesses or whatever you want to just play the outcomes of the games. So as you see the games outcomes right here, the girl, guy or whoever you want, they can display it over the top.

It’s impressive, is like a real person
Yes, it’s realy cool. The outcome was so tremendous for us that we’ve gone ahead and taken our showroom in Las Vegas and actually we’ve put the Fusion back in right now. We are doing it right now. Because we have more people that want to come back to see it again and negotiate how they are going to use it in the casino floors. So what we envision is that we want to combine gaming with live entertainment, and because of the fact that you can actually do this in an area, we have 25 to 50 games to show the outcomes of our machines, as well as showing marketing and entertainment. So you can actually get the casinos that you want to show them an hologram image and you show the outcomes of the game at the same time.

Is this technology available for Latin America right now, or it will be?
It will be. We are still putting packages together, but we hope to have it. We are going to show it at the ICE show in London. From there, we are going to go live. We have a small operation in Slovenia, called Casino Congo. We are going to go live first there, so we can test it out and make sure that it runs smoothly for all the operators, and then we are going to go live in other areas.

And what Latin American country has more potential for you?
Well, it’s hard to say right now, but I can tell you we’ve got our first game in which we installed this in Chile, we have games coming in Peru, Uruguay, actually right here in Buenos Aires we are working with a few companies, so we see a large potential and we are excited with that.

And what do you think about SAGSE?
I think the first day was a little bit slower than we anticipated, but day two so far has been fantastic, and the quality of the visitors has been fantastic. That’s what we are looking for. If you are getting the right decision-makers to come in, that’s the key.

What is the objective for next year, in Argentina and in Latin America in general?
Obviously we want to get product placement in most of the areas in which it is available, so we want to go into Peru, Uruguay, Chile, we want to go into all these places and show them that we have the best products available. I think we are pretty much recognized around the world right now and it’s getting stronger every month, so we are excited about that.
