Sands China supports responsible gaming

(Macau).- Sands China has donated us$ 325,000 to local responsible gaming counselling centres since 2006, according to a press release from the company. On Monday, the gaming operator presented a total of us$ 55,302 to three counselling centres.

The Young Men’s Christian Association of Macau, the Macau IEF Rehabilitation Centre for Problem Gamblers and the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Service Coordination Office each received a cheque for us$ 18,434.

“Gaming in a responsible way is important to the community, and we’re happy to work with organisations helping to minimize the social impact of problem gambling,” David Sisk, COO of Sands China, was quoted as saying.
