Transact Technologies signs new contract for Epicentral Print System

The initial installation will be at Casino Konstanz, with Epicentral being extended to Spielbank BW’s other prestige gaming operations at Casino Baden-Baden and Casino Stuttgart. “We are delighted to announce our first international contract to install the Epicentral Print System at Spielbank BW casinos,” said Bart C. As part of the installation process, Spielbank BW has upgraded all printers in their slot machines to the TransAct Epic 950 printer in order to ensure full usage of the Epicentral Print System. “Epicentral will be a key element in our responsible gaming strategy and gives our management teams the ability to track, manage and communicate with our valued customers across our gaming floors in real time,” said Otto Wulferding, CEO of Spielbank BW Casinos. “We believe that such a flexible, coupon-based print system at the machine will enhance our marketing activities and our support for our visitors and regular clients.”

The Epicentral Print System – connected directly to TransAct’s ServerPort device inside the slot machine – is an easy-to-use, cost-efficient software system that enables casinos to internally develop marketing programs and promotional coupons to be distributed to customers on a real-time basis at a slot machine via the Epicentral technology.

Additionally, the system works with existing slot systems and games as it operates with a separate and distinct connection with the printer. With this, casinos will be able to use the Epicentral Print System to connect to all existing slot machines, regardless of the game’s manufacturer, to drive increased revenue and enhance their customers’ experience on a real-time basis.
